Indian Army establishes borewell in Bishnupur

Bishnupur, January 03 2025: In its continuous efforts towards providing relief and improving the living conditions of the local populace, the Indian Army today established a new borewell at Saiton village of Bishnupur district, under Operation Sadbhavna.

The project was inaugurated and handed over to the people in a simple ceremony attended by the village chief, Ibomcha Singh, members of the village committee, and Army personnel.

The initiative is a significant step in fostering sustainable development in the area by providing a reHable source of water for drinking, sanitation, domestic needs, and agriculture.

It will benefit over a thousand residents.

The Army reaffirms its commitment to uplifting and empowering communities through meaningful initiatives, fostering trust and collaboration with the people it serves.
