Tengnoupal, December 02 2019: Claiming that the fund release on February 4 this year for the purchase of uniform for the students under SSA Chandel has not been released yet, School Management and Development Committee Association Chandel and Tengnoupal District (SMDCA-CTD) appealed the authority concerned to take up necessary action at the earliest.

As per the release issued in this regard, SMDC-CTD said that the non-disbursement of fund to the students for the purchase of uniform for the student is a direct violation of Right to Education.

Reiterating that the fund amounting Rs 36,60,600 was released from the office of Finance Controller SSA State Mission Authority to the Deputy Commissioner/Chairperson, District Board of Education SSA Chandel on February 4 this year, it added that further delay in the release of the fund to the schools will invite democratic agitation.

It then urged the authority concerned to release the fund within 5 days.
