Bishnupur, October 02 2024: In order to combat the rapid spread of mosquito-borne viral disease Dengue, the Youth Development Association Moirang Mairembam Leikai in collaboration with 32 Bn CRPF Loktak Project conducted fogging exercise in and around Moirang Mairembam Leikai today.

Carried out under the slogan of "Dengue Prevention Fogging for a Healthier Community", the chemical pesticides and fogging machine used in the operation was provided by 32 Bn CRPF.

Reportedly, the Club made a request to 32 Bn CRPF CO Arunkumar to carry out fogging operation in the region in view of the rising number of Dengue cases and to protect the community against other mosquito-borne diseases.

The Club has expressed gratitude towards the Co of 32 Bn CRPF for promptly fulfilling their request.

Additionally, the Club has urged the public to take up safety measures against the disease such as getting rid of stagnant water etc.
