Imphal, May 02 2019: As part of World Heritage Day celebration, State Archaeology, Department of Art and Culture flagged off today a heritage tour entitled "Know Your Cultural Heritage" from Kangla Uttra.

Over 100 students from Manipur University, Imphal College, Manipur College, DM College and few school's students led by a scholar's M Indramani visited several historical sites of the State likes Khongjom Kheba Ching, Langthabal Ching, Samadhi of Maharaj Gambhir Singh, Canchipur, Thangal General statue at Palace Gate, Tengol Lampak and Memorial Complex of Wangkhei Meiraba at Machin Manao Hill, Kakching.

The tour was flagged off by Art and Culture, Chief Commissioner, M Lakshmikumar, Director, A Shivdas Sharma and Superintendent of State Archaeology, Shashikanta Sharma K .
