Bishnupur, November 01 2024: Thounaojam Chaoba Memorial Charitable Trust distributed pensions to widows and senior citizens at Phubala community hall under Bishnupur district today.

The pension amount was handed over to 62 persons in total, out of which 15 were new recipients.

In addition to the pension, the widows were also given a Phanek each in celebration of Ningol Chakkouba.

Speaking on the occasion, Thounaojam Romen, Managing Trustee, Thounaojam Chaoba Memorial Charitable Trust said the Trust believes that helping fellow humans is one's ultimate duty.

As a result, the Trust has consistently distributed pension to senior citizens, widows and differently abled persons in different parts of the State, he added.

On behalf of the Trust, Thounaojam Romen also extended Ningol Chakkouba greetings to the womenfolk of Manipur.
