Sharda University organises North East Cultural Meet 2018

Sharda University organised the North-East Cultural Meet 2018 on September 2 8 at the university auditorium on a grand scale with great fervour.
P K Gupta, Chancellor of Sharda University, Chancellor Seema Gupta and Pro-Chancellor Y K Gupta graced the occasion.
Managing committee members were also present at the event.
Students gathered in large numbers to attend the event.
Freshers from North East were welcomed with the grand cultural event and the cultural meet commenced with the performance of traditional Manipuri Dance.
The guests were welcomed with a traditional 'battle cry' act that has its origin to Naga tribes sign of advance victory.
One of the major attractions of the event was the Cheraw Dance by Mizo students.
The performance created an aura of regalement all over.
Ritual dances of all the North Eastern States were also performed.
Along with these, the solo rap and band performances mesmerised the audiences.
The splendid evening bestowed the unity of different cultures on a single stage.
A contest for selecting Mr Fresher and Miss Fresher was also held.
The competitors had to go through rounds like playing musical chairs and answering few perplexing questions asked by the judges.
The winners were felicitated by the guests at the event.
The event saw a series of enthusiastic performances from the fresher students too.
It was a pleasant blending dance, music, creativity and art.
The band performance by a team from Assam brought the 4th North East Cultural Meet 2018 to conclusion.
