K Birkumar elected JMC Vice Chairman

Jiribam, November 30 2019: Among the 10 Ward Councillors of Jiribam Municipal Council, K Birkumar, representing Babupara Ward No 4, was elected Vice - Chairman of the Council today.

Birkumar was elected unopposed in the election held at the meeting hall of JMC to fill the vacant post of left by his predecessor.

S Shanti Devi, Chairperson JMC, Md Abdus Salam, Councillor Ward No 7, Labio, Councillor Ward No 2, E Ashalata Devi, Councillor Ward No 5, K Ranjana Devi, Councillor Ward No 10, Th Purnima Devi, Councillor Ward No 3 and Lalneimuong Hmar, Councillor Ward No 1 were present.

The election was conducted under the supervision of Jiribam Deputy Commissioner Rajkumar Mayanglambam as the presiding officer and he handed over the certificate of election to the new Vice-Chairman.
