Imphal, October 31 2021: The All Tribal Lawyers' Association, Manipur (ATLAM) has vehemently condemned the people responsible for uploading a video clip in social media platform on October 28 targeting the Special Public Prosecutor of District and Session Court, Senapati, questioning her integrity.

In a release, ATLAM stated that the video was also widely shared and circulated in WhatsApp and other social media.

It mentioned that the granting of bail is absolutely in the discretion and wisdom of the concerned Court and the Public Prosecutor has no power to grant bail while adding that there are sufficient rooms to approach the higher Courts by any aggrieved party instead of making wild allegations.

ATLAM further urged the people involved to not spread wrong message to the public without verifying the facts for public consumption and to rectify the same so that the public is not misinformed.
