Governor, CM and other extend Kut Greetings

The Governor of Manipur Dr.KK Paul has extended warm greetings on the occasion of Kut Festival to be celebrated on November 1 today.
In a message to the people of Manipur, the Governor wished that the spirit of Kut will spread oneness, strengthening the social fabric more than ever and bring prosperity to all communities.
The Chief Minister of Manipur Okram Ibobi Singh has wished the people of Manipur especially the Kuki-Chin-Mizo groups that the festival would bring about love, peace, compassion and forgiveness among the people of Manipur.
Gaikhangam, president of MPCC and Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur, has also greeted the people on the occasion of Kut celebrated by the Kuki-Chin-Mizo group.
With the coming of the festival of harvesting season, the president wished for a peaceful, calm and prosperous Manipur.
In his message to the people, Th.Lokeshwar Singh, the Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly extended his good wishes and greetings to the people of the state, saying that the festival will culminate peace and tranquility in the state.
Dr..TMeinya Singh, MP (Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency) also sent out his message for a peaceful and prosperous life on the occasion of the Kut festival to be celebrated on November 1 .
Major General Rajeev Chopra, IG AR (South) and All Ranks of Assam Rifles extend warm greetings and sincere goodwill to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of KUT Festival.
IGAR (South) conveys his message of peace, harmony, unity and understanding on this joyous occasion and wishes that the socio-cultural festival will bring joy, happiness and prosperity in the region by bringing together people of all communities of Manipur.
The United Committee Manipur (UCM) in a press release today ,extended warm wishes for Chavan Kut to the people of Manipur.
Chavan Kut which is a festival to marked the harvesting season among various tribal communities of Kuki, Khongsai, Baite , Paiche, Guite,Thadou, Haokip, Mizos etc., will be celebrated on November 1 all across the state.
The release stressed the need of unity and understanding among the people of Manipur.
Joining the wagon of greetings to the people, the Janata Dal (U), Manipur has conveyed good wishes to the people on the occasion of the Kut festival 2014 .
Greeting the people particularly the Kuki-chin-mizo groups, the AMWJU has appealed to the media persons assigned to cover the festival celebration to do their duties professionally by displaying their identity cards.
