4th foundation day of RIMS nursing college on Dec 3

Imphal, November 29 2012: The 4th foundation day cum Lamp Lighting of College of Nursing, RIMS, will be celebrated on December 3, 2012.Phungzathang Tonsing, the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, will grace the occasion as the chief guest.

Prof S.Sekharjit, Director, will preside over the function.

Dr Mangala Kohli, Asst Director General of Health Services and Prof Ashia Qureshi of the Community Health Nursing, AIIMS, will be guests of honour.

There will be resource persons for the Continuing Nursing Education which include the two guests of honour and other eminent professors of RIMS and Prof N.Damayanti, HOD of Anatomy Dept and Principal i/c.The topic is the importance of the CNE.

It may be recalled that in the 3rd foundation function held last year Manju Vatsa, Principal of AIIMS and Mirdula Khanokar of Regional Nursing college, Guwahati were present.

College of Nursing, RIMS, is forging ahead.

The courses in post certificate and M.Sc Nursing will soon be introduced.
