Imphal, October 29 2016: On the occasion of Ningol Chakkouba, Md Muhammuddin Shah Memorial Trust and Kshetrigao Block Mahila Congress Committee distributed gifts at Kshetrigao Awang Leikai.

The distribution programme was also attended by MLA Amin Shah and his wife G Bandana.

Speaking at the programme, MLA Amin Shah said that organising such programme for women on the occasion of Ningol Chakkouba is the symbol of love and harmony among the people irrespective of community or religion.

Ningol Chakkouba has been observed every year since ages and to continue observing the day is more less like upholding our culture and also promoting love among women of not only Meitei community but also of all the communities of the State, he added.
