Assam Rifles organises veterinary camp

Imphal, December 28 2016: 21 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) has organised a veterinary camp under "Operation Sadbhavana" programme at Sajik Tampak village, Chandel on December 24 .

Apart from free check-up, vaccinations were also administered to the animals.

Officials of 14 Mobile Field Veterinary Hospital explained the locals about the common ailments suffered by animals.

The locals were also educated about threat of communicable diseases in animals.

In another endeavour, 11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a social service under the theme 'Provision of Drinking Water' near New Mongjang village, Chandel district on December 24 .
