Bpr/Kak, August 28 2022: Loktak Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (S) extended life saving medical assistance to a snake bite victim of T Mungjang village, Bishnupur district on August 26.A release issued by PRO of IGAR(S) informed that a 4 year old child was bitten by a snake on his left hand.

The child with symptoms of pain & swelling at the bite site was brought to Unit Hospital of Assam Rifles by the villagers.

The medical team examined and immediately rendered life saving medical care to the child to stabilize his condition.

Loktak Battalion also provided life saving medical assistance to a snake bite victim of Wangoo village, Bishnupur district on August 23.Similarly, Kakching Sector under the aegis of IGAR (S) also extended life saving medical assistance to a snake bite victim of Serou village, Kakching District on August 26 .
