Ukhrul, September 27 2017: ADC members Edmund Chiphang and HA Vareishang today released a journal of Longyo Education Trust in a simple function held at Awontang community hall, Ukhrul today .

Ukhrul Councillors acknowledged the effort and zeal of the Trust in publishing the journal without any assistance from the Government.

ADC member Edmund Chiphang underlined the importance of reading books, newspaper and books in general, to garner general information and gain extra knowledge in the contemporary society .

Longyo Education Trust is one among many in the district which organizes district Mathematics competition since 2013 .

The Trust aims to impress the students with a subject which is not liked by many and to improve the knowledge among the students .

Longyo Education Trust, a non profit organization works for the welfare of the students at various capacity .

According to a statement released by co-convener of the Trust LS Areo, every necessary preparation has been set to conduct the district level Mathematics competition which will be held on the last week of October.
