Shirui Fest continues to draw crowd

Ukhrul, April 26 2018: The third day of the Shirui Lily Festival, 2018 began at 3 pm at Shirui local ground showcasing different forms of traditional dances with flavours from singers and musicians along with the beginning of the first ever 'ShiChef Season 1.0' today.

A dance group from Ukhrul marked the opening of today's function followed by the Maibi and Thougal Jagoi by artistes of Government Dance College.

Artistes from the State of Assam also performed the famous Jhumur Dance.

Cultural troupe from Phaibung village presented a traditional dance and State Shumang Leela Council presented a Shumang Leela, a traditional art form of Manipur.

Competitions on Folk Songs were also held with refreshing light music by the local singers and musicians.

People from Manipur and different parts of the country and foreign Nations are visiting the 2nd Shirui Lily Festival, 2018 which began on April 24 .
