Imphal, April 26 2015 :
Manipur Secretariat Services' Association (MSSA) has started observing a three-day mass casual leave from Monday after the talks with the Manipur Government bogged down on Saturday.
MSSA leaders and Chief Secretary PC Lawmkunga held a meeting on Saturday afternoon to discuss the demands put forth by the association.
However, the meeting ended in a stalemate.
The meeting discussed various issues pertaining to the demands of the MSSA but could not reach an agreement.
It may be mentioned that MSSA had earlier decided to go on a mass casual leave for three days from April 27 if its demands were not fulfilled.
The deadline given by the association expired on Friday.
MSSA has been demanding clearance of DA arrears, SCA payment and other components of the 6th Pay Commission.
