Uripok bodies urge Guv to trace missing youth

Imphal, March 25 2025: Uripok Apunba Lup and Uripok Nupi Apunba Lup have appealed Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla to trace the whereabouts of Lu wangthem Mukesh from Keishampat Leimajam Leikai who has been missing since March 16 .

A press release issued by UAL has urged the Governor to take stringent action to demonstrate that law and order still prevails in the land.

The press release expressed discontent over the Government's failure to locate the youth who has been missing for ten days now.

Even though Mukesh's mobile was last traced at Joujangtek area, those holding the reins of the Government have failed to trace the youth and intelligence sources cannot even tell the public if Mukesh is still alive, said the press release.

It added that safeguarding the life and property of the public is the sworn duty of the people in power.

UAL has also resolved to support all democratic agitations initiated by the concerned Joint Action Committee.
