Biswajit flags off motorcycle expedition

Imphal, November 24 2018: Works Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh flagged off a 10 day motorcycle expedition to Myanmar from Hotel Imphal, this morning.

The expedition is being organised by 'Pack the Bag', with an aim to promote tourism and cultural Integration.

Eight bikers from different parts of the country are participating in the expedition.

Speaking to media persons, Minister Biswajit stated that the expedition will strengthen the emotional and cultural integration.

He lauded the efforts of the organiser for taking up such expedition.

The bikers will drive through Kalaymyo, Monyna, Mandalay, Inle Lake, Ragan and Yangon.

Stating the need for stronger North-East States and improved relation with neighbouring countries, the Minister encouraged the bikers to carry the message of love and affection on their journey and back home.
