Tamenglong, February 23 2024: The Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM) held its General Assembly 2024 cum Election today at Emmanuel Baptist Church Youth Hall in Tamenglong District Headquarters for the tenure 2024-2027 .

A press note by RNCM said that the General Assembly cum election was attended by members of RNCM, Rongmei Literature Society (RLS), Rongmei Naga Luh Phwam (RNLPM), Rongmei Naga Students' Organization Manipur (RNSOM) and Rongmei Naga Youth Organization Manipur (RNYOM) and the general public.

Several resolutions were passed at the assembly followed by the election.

The newly elected office bearers of RNCM for the tenure 2024-2027 are KC Savio Gangsinang (president), Athan Rwangmei and KP Gangmei (vice-presidents), Gailanchung Subash Kamei (general secretary), Gaisinlung Gonmei (Assistant general secretary) and Poujailung Gonmei (Finance secretary) .
