Imphal, January 23 2018: The 16th federation executive committee meeting of Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) for the year 2018-19, was held at Manipur Press Club today.

With Senior Advocate Khaidem Mani as the oath commissioner/ speaker, 25 office bearers and 10 executive members of MSF were sworn in during the meeting.

MSF president M Muktangamba Mangang and RO, Kh Serajuddin were also present as presidium members.

Speaking at the event, the newly elected president of MSF, Ng Milan produced a 10 point action plan of the students body and also confirmed that 'Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamsi' campaign of MSF will continue as usual.

He said that MSF will take up various steps to inculcate moral education in the curriculum taught to the students of the State.

The association will pressure the authority concerned to include lessons about the State's history, traditions and cultures etc in the syllabus which are being taught in schools, colleges and university.

The president pointed out that MSF will also keep a close eye on the Private School Registration and Regulation Bill, 2017 as well as the Manipur Coaching Institutes (Control and Regulation) Bill 2017 .

The association will also pressure the State Government to implement proper Manipur Education Policy and Manipur Youth Policy.
