Two days farmers training programme concludes

A two day training programme on 'Importance and Management of Micro and Secondary Nutrients for Enhancing Crop Production' concluded today at College of Agriculture (COA), Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal.
The training programme was organised by All India Coordinated Research Project on Micro and Secondary Nutrients and Pollutant Elements in Soil and Plants (AICRP-MSPE), Imphal Centre.
The said training programme was inaugurated by Professor N Iboton Singh, former Dean, Professor Dr Indira Sarangthem, Dean and PI, Professor L Nabachandra Singh and Professor U Chaoba Singh of College of Agriculture, CAU, Imphal, said a press release by AICRP-MSPE, Imphal Centre.
A booklet entitled 'Manual on Crop Residue and Pest Management in Organic Farming' was released during the training programme which was participated by a total of 60 farmers from Imphal East, Imphal West and Thoubal districts, added the press release.
