Moreh CSOs laud ND&PS Special Court

Moreh, December 22 2020: Hill Tribal Council, Moreh (HTC) ; Meitei Council Moreh (MCM); Manipuri Muslim Council (MMCM); All Community Development Organisation (ACODOM); Tamil Sangam Moreh and Gorkha Samaj Sewa Samiti, Moreh expressed their appreciation to the ND&PS Special Court Lamphelpat, Imphal for delivering justice to Lhukhosei Zou.

In a joint statement, the CSOs said that the faith and trust in the Judiciary will not be shaken or diminished as long as fair judgement prevails.

No outside force can twist the proceedings of the Court.

In the light of the facts and findings, the ND&PS Special Court Lamphelpat, Imphal has acquitted Lhukhosei Zou of all charges levelled against him on December 17 after thorough enquiry and investigation, it added.

The people of Moreh accorded a warm welcome to Lhukhosei Zou at the conference hall of HTO Moreh, yesterday.

The Court declared Lhukhosei Zou innocent and absolved him from all charges and impediments, it added.

The CSOs further appealed to all the individual(s), organisation(s) or any pressure groups to put an end to all the activities which may tarnish his name and career in the future and added that the people of Moreh stand by Lhukhosei Zou, who is acquitted of all the charges by the Court .
