Father and son who allegedly behind the brutal killing of a local teacher on November 19 last at Phoudel village have surrendered to the police even as villagers burnt down the house of the alleged accuses.
The father surrendered on the next of the murder of the teacher identified as Md Manuwar on November 20 while the son who had been missing after the killing of the teacher surrendered to the police yesterday, official reports said today.
The 35-year old teacher Md Bhutto of Phoudel Khunou was murdered on November 19 evening.
His dead body with cut marks made by some sharp weapon was found in an open place at around 4.30 pm of the same day between Wangkhem and Phoudel of Thoubal district under Irilbung police station.
The victim was a teacher of Emida Public School, Phoudel.
Police said that the accused Md Ajaruddin (20) killed the teacher allegedly for informing his family about his misbehaviors and showing no interest in studies.
Ajaruddin is a student studying at Hundred Flower School, Pangei.
Villagers of Phoudel village on Saturday torched the house of an alleged accused on the next day of the murder of the teacher.
