Imphal, November 21 2019: The Directorate for Welfare of OBC & SC has informed that the Economically Backward Classes (EBC Post-Matric) scholarship scheme for the academic year 2019-20 has been cancelled due to non-availability /non-release of fund by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, GoI.

A press release issued by Director (OBC & SC) GoM further informed that the students who have already registered their scholarship applications for the academic year 2019-20 under this scheme will be migrated to either OBC/SC Post-Matric scholarship scheme of this directorate.

For this purpose, "EBC Modify Tab" will be made available on OSMS homepage to enable the students to upload their OBC/SC certificate.

The scholarship scheme for EBC will depend on the release of funds by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, GoI in the future.
