Moirang Parva workshop commences

Imphal, July 21 2024: Manipur State Shumang Leela Council and Theatre Mirror Manipur kicked off the 30th One Month Theatre Training on Moirang Parva Tradition 2024 at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen, Palace Compound today.

The inauguration of the workshop was accompanied with blessing ceremony of the play "The Third May".

The event was graced by Laishram Tomba, president, Manipur State Shumang Leela Council and members of the management committee as the presidium members.

Around 100 dramatists participated in the workshop.

Notably, The Third May is scripted by Ranjit Ningthouja with Shougrakpam Hemanta taking the helm as director.

Around 30 artists from different troupes will showcase their craft through this play.

The play will be released after the workshop concludes and the requisite screenings are done for the experts.
