36th National Road Safety Month observed in Senapati

Senapati, January 21 2025:
As observed across the nation, the 36th National road safety month was also observed at Mt Mount Everest College today under the theme "Parvaaah" (care) .
The event was jointly organized by Deputy Commissioner, SP, CMO, ZEO, NYK and DTO Senapati district.
Speaking at the occasion, SS Neicy, Inspector, District Transport Office Senapati highlighted the 10 golden traffic rules to be followed by the drivers while driving to ensure safety.
Paulina Monsang, Deputy Director, NYK Senapati in her address highlighted the facilities available at the website www.bharat.co.in for anyone willing to volunteer the traffic and other services.
As part of the event, a quiz competition was also held relating to traffic rules and regulation.
The winners will be acknowledged during republic day celebration at Senapati district headquarter and will compete in state level competition and selected candidates will be sent to Delhi for national level competition.
The programme was attended by students of Mount Everest Higher Secondary School, traffic police, staff of DTO Senapati, NYK staff, ZEO staff and others.
