Imphal, October 20 2016: Democratic Students Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has today warned the manager of United Social Empowerment (USE) for defrauding people on the pretext of giving loans.

In a statement, DESAM said that the matter came to light when it conducted an investigation in connection with a complain made to the organisation.

It said USE claimed itself as a private bank and collected money from the people on the pretext of providing loans and bluffed/coned the public even using fake check slips.

DESAM also asked the fraud organisation to return the money and warned of taking up stern actions if fails to do so.
