Imphal, June 19 2018: National Peoples Party (NPP) State general secretary Khuraijam Loken distributed relief materials like rice and dal to the flood affected people of Naorem Makha Leikai under Wangoi A/C today.

Speaking to media persons, Kh Loken claimed that the Govt is also providing flood relief aids and assistance to the people but there are always cases of little materials reaching the target people or people failing to get proper aid in time or at all.

He claimed that around 100 quintals of rice have been allocated to Wangoi A/C but the people of the Constituency have been angered by only 3-5 kgs provided to the household.

He pointed out that around 2500 households of Wangoi A/C have been affected by the flood.
