Speaking on the occasion, Biren hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for extending Inner Line Permit System in the state and said that the Modi government has been focusing on the development of northeast region especially Manipur.

Stating that all the works of PM Modi carry a vision for a better future, Biren called upon the people of the state to take the opportunity for bringing peace and development in the state.

Union minister Bhupendra Yadav also attended the event and distributed PMJAY cards to some beneficiaries.

The CM and the union minister visited all the 30 stalls run mostly by Common Service Centres where enrolment services under different flagship schemes are provided.

He claimed that there has been a lot of infrastructural development in the last four and half years with the support of the people and maintained that the government is trying its best to improve the rural economy of the state.
