Jiribam, January 18 2018: A Joint Action Committee (JAC) regarding a missing van driver was formed yesterday during a meeting held for all local representatives, clubs members and senior citizens of Bengali Muslims, at Kasimpur Bazaar.

It can be recalled that one Nur Hussain went missing on January 9 .

The Jiribam district police recovered the van from Mayang Imphal but his trace remain clueless till date.

In connection with the missing van driver, the JAC submitted a memorandum to Superintendent of Police, Jiribam District and appealed to the police administration to take necessary steps to find the missing driver.

It further urged to nab the culprits who were involved in the abduction of the driver.

The JAC also assured to provide full cooperation to the police authority in maintaining communal harmony in the district.
