'National Recitation Competition' results declared

Imphal, August 17 2020: The results for the 'National Recitation Competition' conducted by Laininghan Trust in collaboration with Ahan Taranithoi, Hounasang (AM) were declared on August 16 through an online meet.

The 'National Recitation Competition' was held on the eve of 132nd Laininghan Naoria Phulo's birth anniversary, August 11 and celebrated through online means amongst students.

A total of 62 students from different parts of India participated.

In Group A (Class III-VII), Khaidem Tanaubi Chanu bagged the 1st position followed by Chabungbam Tomthinganba Meetei and Keisham Pushparani at 2nd position.

The 3rd position was shared by Akoijam Mangaleibi Chanu, Keisham Panthung Leima and Thongam Tomthinnganbi Chanu.

In Group B (Class VIII-XII), the 1st position was bagged by Huidrom Thadoilembi, followed by Thongam Oasis and Thongam Kareena Chanu in the 2nd position and Sougrakpam Reshmi Devi, Thounaojam Manganlei and Thangjam Leisna in the 3rd position.

All the participants will receive certificates and consolation prize money.

1st, 2nd and 3rd winners will be awarded certificates along with cash prize of Rs 3000, Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 respectively.
