SDCU extends financial support for construction of new Church at Sadim pukhri

Senapati, February 16 2025: In a significant gesture of community support, the President of the Senapati District Catholic Union (SDCU) Saul Polah and in presence of Luikang Andrew, Secretary, Romeo Kayina, Finance Secretary handed over a cheque of Rs 2,07,800/- to St Joseph Catholic Church, Sadim Pukhri, as aid for the ongoing new Church construction.

The cheque was presented during a brief ceremony held at the Church service, attended by Church officials, SDCU members, and local community members.

Expressing his gratitude, the president of SDCU thanked all the contributors for their generosity and support, which made the donation possible.

He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation amongst the community members to complete the Church construction project at the earliest.

"This donation reflects SDCU's commitment to supporting community development and spiritual growth initiatives in the region," said the president of SDCU.

The new Church construction project is expected to benefit the local Catholic community, providing a modem and spacious place of worship.
