Imphal, February 16 2017: Capping and oath taking ceremony of the 11th batch nurses of Irengbam Thamcha Devi Nursing and Health Care Research Institute, Uripok, who have completed their nursing course, was held at GM hall today.

Soram Tikendrajit (Retd Lt Col and social activist), Irengbam Ibotombi (Founder of Irengbam Thamcha Devi Nursing and Health Care Research Institute), I Yaima (vice president, All Manipur Irengbam Apunba Sagei), MS Gokulmani (Executive Director of Manipur State RSBY Society, Labour Department), P Landhoni (Nursing Superintendent, JNIMS) and Thoudam Nandarani (Associate Professor, State College of Nursing) took part in the event as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

According to the founder of the institute, I Ibotombi, the students who have completed their training would be sent to JNIMS for their practical course.

Most of the students who passed out from the institute have been selected in many different hospitals outside the State, he added.
