Bishnupur, December 15 2024: Under the initiative of Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission, Lam Ahingba Village Level Federation, Keinou organised a painting competition on the theme "Elimination ofGender Based Violence" at Loyalakpa Community Hall, Keinou today.

The event was attended by Bikas Singh, MIS Assistance MARLM, Nganthoi Devi, Internal Mentor MSRLM, A Ibemhal, president of Lam Ahingba VLF, L Geeta Leima, secretary Lam Ahingba VLF.

Speaking at the occasion, Lam Ahingba VLF member, A Premrani stated that the painting competition was organised as part of Manipur State Rural Livelihood campaign on "Elimination of Gender based Violence" to spread awareness to the young students on violence and against women and children.

To minimise violence against women and children, such competition was held for the students by the Lam Ahingba VLF, added Premrani.

Later, the winners of the painting competition were felicitated with cash prizes and special gifts.
