President of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, MLA Gaikhangam has conveyed his heartiest greetings to the Muslim brethren of Manipur on the occasion of Id-Ul-Zuha, which falls on November 17 .
May the holy festival usher an era of peaceful, prosperity and development in Manipur, Gaikhangam's message said.
President of Manipur People's Party(MPP), Dr Nimaichand Luwang, in his message of greetings to the Muslim brethren, prayed to Allah for safe and peaceful celebration of the holy festival Id-Ul-Azah on November 17 .
He also offered Duha to Allah to make all people living together in Manipur to cooperate with each other with a sense of sacrifice and make Manipur a peaceful state.
Meanwhile, BJP Manipur Pradesh also extended heartiest greetings to the Muslim brethren of Manipur on the occasion Id-Ul-Azah on November 17 and offered Duha to Allah to enable all people of the state to live in peace.
On the other hand, the United Committee Manipur (UCM) has also conveyed warm greetings to the Muslim (Meetei Pangal) brethren on the occasion of Id-UL-Zuha.
President of UCM, Yumnamcha Dilipkumar said in his message that Id-Ul-Zuha is the commemoration of the day on which Hajrat Ibrahim Khallillulah took his own son Ismail Zab Ullah on the street of Mina and sacrificed him to Allah.
May the commemoration of the holy day be held successfully and peacefully, Dilipkumar said and added that may Id-Ul-Zuha bring a peaceful society where all democratic rights of the people are ensured and all forms of oppression and suppression of people by people are absolutely absent.
