Flat colony for Manipuris to come up in Noida

Imphal, July 15 2014: To the relief of Manipuri people working and settling in Noida city, Investors Clinic, the largest real estate service company in Asia, is all set to develop a flat colony only for Manipuri people just opposite to Columbia Asia Hospital along National Highway 24, Noida, as part of its project taken up at Aditya World City.

To apprise the people of the State about the facilities to be made available in this proposed flat colony, a team of officials from Investors Clinic led by its director Pranab Sharma and general manager Devedra Singh will be visiting here on July 19 .

On the same day, a consultative interaction programme will be held at the Sangai Hall of Imphal Hotel which will be inaugurated by MP Dr Th Meinya.

Speaking to media persons in this regard, social worker Amrit Singh Pahwa stated that the proposed exclusive flat colony for Manipuri people is to be strategically located in Noida, which is a planned city and is just 14 kms away from Delhi Airport.

He maintained that such a flat colony will help in curbing crimes and violence against north east people which has been witnessing every now and then in Delhi.

Against the highly charged rate for procuring a flat in Delhi, the proposed flat colony will offer a flat with one bed room, kitchen along with attached bathroom and toilet at Rs 15 lakh while for two bed rooms, kitchen, drawing room with attached bathroom and toilet, the Investors Clinic will charge just Rs 21 lakh, he said.

The flat could be brought by installment basis through SBI, HDFC and Axis Bank.

However, 10 percent of the flat price will have to be deposited in the bank first.

The remaining 90 percent can be paid through installment basis within a span of 20 years, he added.
