JD-U seeks public support

Janata Dai-United (JD-U) Lok Sabha MP Rampit Mandal from Bihar has assured that the party would pro vide every possible supportforthe development and prosperity of Manipur.
He made the statement during the annual meeting of the party held at GM Hall today where he was welcomed as well.
Speaking at the gathering, he said that even though he was born in Bihar, he grew up in Manipur and added that after staying in Manipur from 1976 to 2006, he went to Bihar and became a Pradhan and eventually became an MP.
Assuring that JD-U will strive for development of Manipur, he appealed to the people to have faith in the party and its leader Nitish Kumar, who is also the CM of Bihar.
He also informed that he will bring Nitish Kumar to Manipur in May this year and added that the party will contest and succeed in the Manipur Legislative Assembly of 2022.JD-U will also contest in the ADC and ULBS elections, he added.
JD-U Manipur president Hangkhanpao Taithul, former Minister Ningthoujam Bihari, Hindustani Samaj Manipur vice president Madan Singh, JD-U National council member Thengkhosei Haokip and State vice president Limjalet Haokip were also present as well.
