Jiribam police seize tobacco products worth Rs l.l lakh

Jiribam, August 14 2020: A team of Jiribam police seized tobacco products worth Rs 1 lakh and 10 thousand while conducting frisking and checking at Foreigner Check Post, Jiribam, today.

The tobacco products - Rally Khaini (1620 pieces), Shikhar Pan Masala (120 pouches), Sheikh Nasiruddin Biri (80 bundles), Beli Beri (280 bundles), Vimal Pan Masala (88 pouches), V-l tobacco (88 pouches) and SS-One Tobacco (120 pouches) were seized this morning from one Tata ACE coming from Silchar, Assam.

The seized tobacco items are to be handed over to the Food Safety Officer, Jiribam.
