Imphal, October 13 2024: An awareness programme was conducted on October 9 at Salam Mayai Leikai Community Hall, Imphal West under the theme, "Impact of drug abuse on society and role of the public to check the rampant use of drugs" .

The awareness programme was organised by Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) in collaboration with Salam Maning Apunba Nupi Lup, Salam Youth Learners' Club and Salam Youths' Volunteer, said a release issued by CADA.

It was attended by Hijam Priyokumar, president CADA Head Office; Sorokhaibam Nganbi, president Salam Maning Apunba Nupi Lup; Leitanthem Radhe, secretary Salam Mamang Leikai Mahella Mandal and Sorokhaibam Jiban, secretary Salam Youth Learners' Club as presidium members.

Geetchandra Mangang, secretary general CADA Head Office and Ningthoujam Doren, vice-president CADA HO also attended the programme as resource persons.
