Imphal, July 13 2019: A team of eight members from Manipur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) will be travelling, on their own expenses, to attend the 2nd KEN Manipur Global Diaspora Convention at London on July 27 .

The team comprises of Dr Radhesyam Oinam, Irabanta Ningombam, Sadananda Maibam, Sovid Elangbam, Geetashori Yumnam, Dr Asem Sundari, Manoranjan Laishram and Haorokcham Anil, said a statement signed by MCCI's president Dr Radhesyam Oinam.

The statement also mentioned that MCCI is working towards providing common platform for all Manipuris who are settled abroad to come together in the form of Manipuri Diaspora Consortium.

Towards this goal, the International KEN Convention will provide the opportunity to MCCI delegates to connect with representatives from North America Manipur Association (NAMA), Manipuri Association of Canada (MAC), Europeon Manipuri Association (EMA), Dynamic Manipur (Korea/Taiwan) etc, it added.
