ARSUD to hold rally against child trafficking in Ukhrul

Ukhrul, June 13 2022:
The Association of Recognised Schools Ukhrul District (ARSUD), while condemning the alleged attempt to kidnap a student on June 10 at an isolated area of Ukhrul town, has resolved to organise a peaceful rally in Ukhrul town tomorrow (Tuesday) .
According to ARSUD, the incident occurred on June 10 somewhere at Mayotang Zone-II, wherein one eight years old boy identified as Castle Ikror Rephung studying in KTL School was reportedly kidnapped by some miscreants.
The boy was later found abandoned and packed in a gunny bag.
Fortunately, the boy was rescued by his own family from the hand of the kidnappers.
The boy revealed that he saw five persons and one of them approached him while the others covered his mouth.
Following this incident, (ARSUD) ARSUD has resolved to hold a peaceful rally against the barbaric act and demanded the authorities concerned to arrest the kidnappers.
The rally will begin from two points North and South of Ukhrul Town and will converge at Mini Secretariat Hamleikhong, Ukhrul.
