Lions Club of Imphal Greater distributes essential items to children home

Imphal, January 13 2021: Lions Club of Imphal Greater in association with Lions Club Imphal Centurion distributed essential items to the children presently staying at Nablini Astham Children Home, Ghari Awang Leikai, Imphal West, today.

Lions Club of Imphal Greater distributed rice, potato, salt, edible oil, onion and other essential items as a mark of respect to Melvin Jones, the founder of Lions Clubs International on his birthday, the 13th January, said a statement of PRO, Lions Club of Imphal Greater.

President of the Lions Club Imphal Greater Lion N Bijoy mentioned that the programme was organised as a part of "Relieving the Hunger" campaign taken up by Lions Clubs worldwide.

The event was attended by former District Governor M Gojendra of Lions Club International, District 322D and other Lion members of the Lions Club of Imphal Greater.
