Cleanliness programme conducted at RIMS

As part of the nationwide Special Campaign 4.0, aimed at institutionalizing Swachhata (cleanliness) and reducing pendency, cleanliness activities and disposal of redundant items were organised at the College of Nursing, Dental College and Clinical Psychology, RIMS, Imphal today.
The cleanliness programme witnessed active participation from the staff of the College of Nursing, Dental College and Clinical Psychology, RIMS, Imphal, as well as students and staff members from CRED, said a release issued by RIMS, Imphal.
During the event, Prof H Jamuna Devi, Principal of the College of Nursing, RIMS, Imphal, emphasized the importance of cleanliness for maintaining good health.
Highlighting that the cleanliness programme aligns with the objectives of Special Campaign 4.0, she said, "It is very important to stay neat and clean if we wish to stay healthy".
In light of the recent dengue outbreak, Prof Jamuna Devi underlined the need for keeping the environment clean, noting that a dirty environment can lead to numerous health issues.
"Cleanliness is not just a personal responsibility but a collective one, especially as we face the dengue challenge", she added.
Prof Y Govindaraj Singh, Nodal Officer, Special Campaign 4.0 also inspected the sites today.
