Imphal, October 12 2020: The Nehru Yuva Kendra Imphal East, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India has organised an essay competition under the theme 'Importance of behavioural change in clean village and green village' as a part of 'Clean village-green village: Swarchhta awareness Evam Shramdan' at Keikhu today.

More than 100 participants participated in the event, said a release of NYK.

Further, NYK Imphal East also carried out a COVID-19 prevention awareness to popularise wearing of face masks, maintain social distancing, use of hand sanitizers, washing hands frequently and downloading Aarogya Setu App at Khergao Awang Sabal Leikai, Keikhu, Khergao and Pangong on October 11 .

The volunteers went door to door to speard the awarness, it said.
