10 Bn BSF conducts Civic Action Programme

As part of its ongoing efforts to foster community engagement and support local populations, the 10 BSF successfully organized a Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2024-25 on February 12 at City Club, Litan Makhong, Heirok Part-II, Thoubal District, Manipur.
The event was held to focus on the welfare and upliftment of the local population through various humanitarian initiatives.
Under this initiative, essential items such as sports gear, water storage tanks, sanitary pads, incinerator machines, and CGI sheets were distributed to the local residents.
Additionally, the Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB) canteen facilities were made available to the public, ensuring access to essential commodities.
The programme was inaugurated by NS Boparai, Commandant, 10 Bn BSF, in the presence of Praveen Kumar, 2 IC/Ops, 10 Bn BSF, Pravesh Kumar, AC Coy Commander E-Coy, 10 Bn BSF, village heads, local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and club volunteers.
Among the distinguished attendees were Premjit Singh, Pradhan.

Addressing the gathering, NS Boparai, Commandant, 10 Bn BSF, expressed his gratitude towards the local community for their support and cooperation.
He reiterated the BSF's commitment to conducting similar welfare activities in the future under the Civic Action Programme, ensuring continued assistance to the people of Manipur.
The local residents welcomed the initiative with great enthusiasm and appreciation, acknowledging the BSF's efforts in addressing their essential needs.
The programme concluded with a reassurance from the BSF that such humanitarian efforts will remain a priority to strengthen community relations, mitigate hardships, and contribute to the overall security and well-being of the region.
