Bus Association not to entertain monetary demand

Imphal, December 11 2013: The All Manipur Inter-State Bus Association (AMISBA) will not entertain to any form of monetary demands made to the organisation, according to M.Bimol, general secretary of the association who was addressing the media persons in a meeting at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

Bimol said that even though the bus association has been rendering their help and support to other organizations and underground groups for some time now, nothing has been returned back in their favours.

Even at times when the association faced crises, the said organizations had been of no help and remained mute spectators.

As such, the association has resolved not to comply with any demand or crisis faced by other civil organizations or related parties.

The All Manipur Inter State Bus Association is formed by group of people coming from diverse social-strata and thereby he appealed the concerned authorities not to place any kind of demands or donation to the association, he maintained.

It may be mentioned that prior to the press meet, the association had taken the decision earlier at a meeting of the executives at Royal Tours and Travels, North AOC Imphal.
