2nd preparatory meeting for the sitting of NCPCR bench held

Chandel, October 11 2019: The 2nd preparatory meeting for the ensuing sitting of the 'National Commision for Protection of Child Rights' bench, to be held on October 18 in Chandel District, was held at the conference hall of Mini Secretariat, Chandel today.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Chandel, Krishna Kumar which was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr A Chinglenkhomba Meitei; Superintendent of Police, Madhunimai; members of the Child Welfare Committee, SDOs, legal experts, DLOs and all the stake holders of the district.

In today's meeting, as part of deliberation upon the ensuing NCPCR visit in the district on October 18, SP Madhunimai and the Legal expert sensitised the members present on Juvenile Justice Act and POCSO Act.
