People offer prayers at Leihou Leipok Ching

People flocked to Leihou Leipok Ching to offer prayers to Leihou Leipok Ching Umanglai at Sonai in Assam's Cachar.
The mass prayer was organised by the Leihou Leipok Ching Umanglai Ngaksel Lup.
On the origin of the place of worship, Leihou Leipok Ching Umanglai Ngaksel Lup president Oinam Nilu Singha said Induprabha -- the sister of then king of Manipur Madhuchandra -- was married to Krishnachandra, the king of Cachar (1780 to 1813) .
On her way to Manipur for Ningol Chakkouba, Induprabha had a dinner with Meiteis of Sonai Cachar and spent a night at Bhubon Ching with her people including King Krishnachandra's Senapati Joy Singha.
In his dream, Senapati Joy Singha was told to construct a Temple at Sonai, and later, Induprabha constructed the Temple at Leihou Leipok Ching, he said.
