SWC celebrates Foundation Day

Imphal, September 10 2024: The 42nd Foundation Day of Social Workers' Congress (SWC) Khongman was celebrated yesterday at its office premises in Khongman on the theme, "Participation and Mutual Cooperation".

The celebration began with the offering of floral tribute to the deceased members of SWC, said a release issued by SWC.

The gathering led by SWC president A Birendra Singh also paid their respect to the brave heroes who gave their lives for their motherland in the present conflict.

As part of the celebration.

57 meritorious students who secured more than 70 percent in Class X and XII examinations were felicitated.

16 outstanding sports persons were also honoured with Meritorious Sports Awards.
