Imphal, September 10 2014: The Government of Manipur has once again declared holiday in all schools and colleges in the State from tomorrow until further orders.

Principal Secretary in charge of Education (S) Dr..JSuresh Babu and Commissioner of Higher and Technical Institution P.Vaiphei have issued two separate orders in this regard late evening today.

The decision to declare holiday in all schools and colleges is said to have been taken after taking into due consideration of the prevailing law and order situation in the State as well as in the interest of protecting the students from unwanted incidents.

The Government of Manipur has also appealed to the parents for co-operation in the efforts being made for the welfare of the students.
